What's Love got to do with it.

I was with my partner for 7 years with unprotected sex when I found out that I had herpes. He swears he hadn't been with anyone else. It's hard to believe that if he had it all along why did it take 7 yrs for me to get it. He was my only sex partner in that 7 year period. Can the virus be dormant for that long or did he cheat on me with an infected person?

I am 62 and no longer have sex because I'm to embarassed. I have lost my trust in the male race.

Was with my partner for 12yrs!. He CHEATED,and is probably still with the woman,but say he isn't.. I'm just waiting for him to take all STDs and call me with the results.. He said he would... I'm waiting.. Let's hang in there together..

Hard to believe there are people that do that and have no care for the partner but that's why it is spreading a lot. Hope you are clear when the test comes back anyway

My friend's boyfriend actually performed oral sex on her after having a cold sore. He never cheated, but when bringing her to the doctors the nurse noticed the cold sore area & asked if they had oral sex. BINGO - this is where it came from.
