My husband died of cancer 2yrs.ago and I have not been with any other personsperson

I had a place around my rectum that looked like a crack from and old stretch mark from pregnancy.I tryed everything, finally went to the DR..She said it looked like genital herpes.Had blood work done,but don't know results yet.What else could it be?It has never been in the form of a blister,just a split,not deep,no other symptom. It never scabs or gets dry.I'm completely destroyed.I'm 70 years and crushed,but also puzzled has to how I contacts genital herpes.I've never had a fever blister.
