When i had a one night stand. Which was rare for me because im an 19 year old girl. About a month or so later i ask one of my friends mothers to take me to a clinic. They did a herpes test, and they were sure i had it, but the results came back negative. I am aware now that if you dont get to the doctor RIGHT AWAY somehow there wont be enough fluid or something to prove it is in fact herpes. I am having another out break a year later. Now im sure i have it. And i will have it for ever. And when i have a child it breaks my heart because they are at risk of getting it also. All because of a stupid unprotected one night stand. So if you are reading this, use a condom. And if you have herpes like myself, hold your head up high because we all make mistakes.

I bet you regret that night but its not that bad.
I had a friend who did the same and found himself with HIV.

You can look at it like you were lucky in one regard as it could have been much worse.

you're right... i am currently suffering with an outbreak. it started over the weekend and feels like uneasy and unable to sleep. on the 3rd day, i decided to seek for a doctor's advice because at first i thought it is just merely an ordinary wound or hurt after sex and i found out that i have it.. currently i am so much in despair and totally lost. i never had sex for a year and more then i was wrong with the one i am currently dating thinking that he's clean. i hope i will not die... :(

Try Homeopathy

You should give Homeopathy a try. I have worked with a homeopath and they can treat anything; if you have a good one. So you do'nt have anything to lose with that!

In response to the last comment, I did some reading on Homeopathy... how or where do you find someone who does this professionally? From what I read, it's one of those things that is being resisted by "modern medicine".

your posting made me cry. im an emotional wreck. If you think tjat noone on this earth understand you, you're wrong bc i do. I am 18 and im 99% sure that i have Herpes. & why? because of an one night stand too. Like you it breaks my heart thinking about my future kids, or even the person i want to marry. I pray for you because i know the emotional distress it brings. & also i plray for anyone in this situation. I am alone and scared with noone to help me. i will try to hold my head high. Hope all is well
