I think I have Oral herpes...

I have a nice big "cold sore" on my top lip. I was just wondering if anyone has any tips on how to reduce the appearance? It is super embarrassing. I don't even want to go outside. Seriously it looks like I was hit in the mouth with a baseball cause it is so inflamed.

Take vitamin E daily. If you have one that pops up on your mouth bust open the vitamin E and put it on the sore.

Try lysine it is sold in the vitamin section of the pharmacy sections. If I have a bad one I take one in morning and one in the evening. After that you can if you want take one a day.
I get them before my period and if I eat alot of acidic foods such as tomatoes.
