I need advice pls

So recently I found out my ex boyfriend who i was with for 2 and a half years has herpes, and I was the only person he was ever with he hadn't even kissed anyone before. So now, 7 months after breaking up I hear this rumor of him telling people he has it, and that I gave it to him. So i confronted him and It's true that he does have it....So I know i need to get tested and worry about that part first, but what I'm extremely concerned about and writing this for is because, a month after we broke up I got a new bf and, well its been 6 months we've been dating and my ex didn't tell me till i asked and I'm freaking out because I don't know how or if i even can tell him (that is if it turns out i have it), I need some advice please, I don't know how to even really think about it, I'm so freaked out he's going to leave me :'(. help.
