I had no Idea

Well i'm waiting on the results but my doctor is sure I have Herpes. I had no idea! In Dec. when I got the blood test for it, it was negative, but then i started feeling this burning or stinging after I would have saex with my partner, which I have been with for 6 months and have not been sleeping with anyone else. I'm not sure he can say the same but I went to the doctor Feb. 17, 2002 with this horrible pain on my vagina and as soon as my doctor looked at, she said it probably is Herpes, I busted out crying, I couldnt believe it, everything in me wants to think it could be something else but what can you do. I can only wait for the results in 2 weeks and pray to God that its not Herpes. I told my partner the same night, letting him know that I wasnt sure but he was the only one I've been sleeping with. I asked him if I was the only one and he couldnt answer me. I told him I wasnt pointing any fingers but I know i havent been sleeping with anyone, can you say the same... nothing. I didnt have this problem until just lately so I dont know. He told me he would call me back that he need sometime to think, I understood, but he hasnt called back. I thought we had a great bond but this will put or relationship to the test...

My partner and I talked about it but not into detail... I dont know how he feels and what hes going to do about it... but im not giving up! We actually spent the day together as we do when we can so we will see.. he may be ready to go into further detail about later but im not going to pressure him...

when u asked him the first time and he couldn't response u should have known he was an stand up guy then once a cheater always one next time its gonna be a lot worst take notes be safe

Hi this shina and i wantd to give an update... well I decided it wld be best for me to move on... he wasnt so happy bout that and till this day he still tries to get back wit me... i just cldnt take the fact that he cldnt tell me the truth about cheating! and whats worse everytime we wld argue he wld throw that shit up in my face and it just wasnt right so i left... on a better note my high school sweet heart found me again thru facebook and we began to talk again and i told him from the jump that i had contractd herpes from my ex... he didnt care... he said he loved me and always has... at this moment we r engaged to get married and working on having a baby! i thought my life had ended but im able to say thru the strength of GOD and LOVE i was able to move on and continue to live the life i was made to live.... i hope someone finds my story inspirational...just keep ur head up! SHINA

Hi there, try homeopathy! There is a cure that way!!! If you find a good homeopath they will be able to cure it. Hope this helps.

I am in MD also. Your story was uplifting, although sad at 1st. I am so glad u get away from that guy. He sounds like an untrustworthy, liar. Also sounds like he didn't care about you.

I am very glad you found someone... I still feel like I will never find anyone or get married & have kids... because it is possible to spread the disease to my baby during birth. I try to have "normal" relationships, but they never work out. Eventually the guy leaves once the Herpes thing is brought up. I tell them right away if I see the relationship heading in a physical direction. Some stay for a long while, but they all eventually leave. I wish you all the best! :)

Listen dont worry always be upfront with people eventually you will find someone that will truly care about you and herpes wont matter... no the children thing i was also nervous about that but my doctor let me know as long as i dont have an outbreak when its time to give birth the baby should be fine... so dont lose hope someone is out there for you!

i found out today when my doctor called me and told me by phone, so i have been reading through and trying to get inspired, in such disbelief, i have NEVER had an out break, i dont even know how long i've had it, i'm suppose to be getting married in two weeks, talked to my man on the phone today, i asked him would he still want to marry me knowing my test is positive? he said i love you and besides, i have the antibody shot, i dont know how this happened, me and him have been abstinent for a long time and i have never taken a test for herpes b4 so who knows how long i've had it and not shown any symptoms
