herpes or hemmroids?

by ------
(---------)

I'm a 23 year old male. About a month ago in the shower i was cleaning the crack, and felt an odd stinging feeling Ive never felt before. While going to the bathroom as i would wipe, it stung, so i figured i would figure out why, i looked at the paper and there was a tiny bit of blood. There was no pain unless it was irritated by water or touching. It lasted for about a week then it was gone.I had a girlfriend for two years in college who had Herpes Simplex, she gave me oral twice, and we had sex without a condom once. We broke up when we graduated and i enlisted in the Army. I was tested at meps for STD's and was never notified or DQ'd from having anything. I'm not sure if they test for herpes or not, and Ive never had an "Outbreak" of any sort before. I don't know if you can get Genital herpes around your anus from herpes simplex or not.

So i guess I'm wondering if this is a hemorrhoid, or if its possible to be herpes.

Fro what you describe it is difficult to diagnose, but have just caught it, I knew I had some thing, its not just a minor discomfort at least for me. But having said that, it is entirely possible to contract it and not know.

So if you have any doubts, get a blood test. It will clear your head of any worries. Piles are nothing to worry about.
