Confused/nervouse! What do you think?

So a a few months ago I got this little bump on my inner thigh, and it was really small so I just thought it was an ingrown hair. It is just one I have no others. But it never went away and yesterday it got a little bit bigger and kind of looks like a pimple and it kind of itches now. I'm just wondering if it could be herpes? I don't know how long those last or whatever but it has been there 2 or 3 months. I'm really kind of freaked out.
