Am I sick?????????????

I have had some small white bumps on the head,right around the edge of my penis since I was a child, Long before I started having sex. I went to the Dr about three years now and she said it was nothing to worry about. I really am worried as I don't see how i could get herpes. am married 1 year now and am wondering if I can have kids.
