I begged my BF of 3 years to not put himself in me while unprotected, and he forced it in (I wouldn't say it was rape)..I may have herpes now and they are painful. IDK what to do now.I hate myself!
Please don't hate yourself! First off, I hate to break it to you but that was sexual assault... anytime you say no and it happens anyway, it is rape/forced sex/sexual assault. You need to go to the police, but more importantly, break up with & stay away from that young man & then go get tested! I pray that u get this msg or that you have already done these things & I'm just late. I'm so sorry that happened to you. :(

Yes, that was rape. Your boyfriend must be charged with assault & causing grievous bodily harm by giving you his herpes that he forced upon you.
I got HSV 2 20 years ago& felt so alone (2nd lover... Not even a boyfriend!).. I thought I was invincible.
It was the most traumatic thing ever.
But then I met & married a wonderful man who loved me for me& will never leave. It's been 8 years & he hasn't caught it.
I havnt had OBs, as they disappear after a while- thank God!
And he sees me as just me! He doesnt see me his "wife with genital herpes"! That sounds icky!
So, wait it out.: you will meet a man who will love you for you. I believe that faith in God makes a difference& we are both Christians & fully committed to marriage & family "til death us do part" - go for it.. But it takes time & acceptance.
It took me 11 years to live with it..& then when I found love in myself & God.. I found my husband. No rush.. Be calm.. Peace
